About

DISCOVER

After studying harmony and Jazz piano at the CIM in Paris, Tristan LOHNER began his career with a Professional Certificate in Fine Woodworking under the tutelage of Bernard DAUDE, a cabinetmaker for Pierre PAULIN at the Mobilier National. He then joined the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs de Paris.

Tristan LOHNER regularly collaborates with various publishers, including FERMOB, and has been involved in projects awarded the Etoile du Design and the Best of the Best at the Red Dot Design Award. 

Some of his projects became bestsellers and were distributed in over 50 countries. In 2024, Tristan Lohner received the French Design 100 award, recognizing object and space design projects that promote French creativity internationally.

When I pick up a pencil, I aim to connect sensitively with the user, to get closer to the initial intent of the design, which is related to the concept of service.

Collaboration

David Mélan

With a degree in industrial design, David joined Jean Nouvel's studio, where he worked with the great names in design and architecture. He met Tristan Lohner, with whom he shares a passion for beautiful objects, combining technical precision and pleasure of use.

They began collaborating, working together on the development of new collections.
